Probably the biggest and best hotel in town, and a very good one. Breakfast and a heater in the room are included in the price. My only issue was the toilet in room 103, which didn’t work properly and needs attention.

The room was roomy and very clean, and it had a heater. But breakfast was a joke, with almost nothing left even though we arrived an hour before it closed. Checkout was at 11am, yet reception called at 10am to ask why we were still in the room. At 10:30 someone called again to ask if they could come in and clean it. Completely rude to guests.

The rooms are simple, clean, and pleasant, arranged around a lovely courtyard. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower had strong hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s secure parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was a decent buffet, and you can have meals delivered from the hotel’s restaurant in the town centre. It felt like an oasis in this dusty little town.

A huge parking area behind the hotel and a nice cooked breakfast make this a good place to stop in Sicuani. It’s professionally equipped and run, with open log fires to take the chill off. The town centre is a 20 minute walk away, though there isn’t much there to draw you in.

We arrived as a family of six without a reservation. They only had two double rooms, but fitted an extra bed in each, proper full beds with slats, not quick fold-up ones. It must have taken a lot of work. The rooms are lovely, and downstairs a beautiful fire was waiting for us. Chef vincent and his team cooked a wonderful meal, actually our best meal in Peru. The receptionist and manager were hugely helpful. We highly recommend the hotel.
