It's a decent budget hotel in the heart of Kazimierz, my favourite part of Kraków, and close to all kinds of transport. The old town square is about 15-20 minutes away on foot. There are lots of bars and restaurants around, so it can get loud late at night when people are heading home. If you want somewhere really quiet, another area may suit you better. Check-in was easy: I got a door code and then found a magnetic card in my room. It's self check-in, so the only people I met were the warm, friendly cleaning ladies. My room was large, and I'd suggest booking a standard apartment over economy if you want more space. The bathroom was roomy enough, with good water pressure and a better shower head than in most cheap hotels. Free toiletries were replaced when I ran out. There was bottled water, tea, instant coffee, a kettle and, I think, a fridge, though I didn't need it. The bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows. The old, worn stairs may be difficult if you have some mobility issues, so I asked for a lower-floor room, knowing about them beforehand.

There's plenty of choice if you like pubs and that sort of thing, but the main square is quite a distance away. The room itself is lovely.

The beds were very clean and comfortable, and bottles of still and sparkling water were waiting for us when we arrived. The rainfall dual shower was nice. The TV is very small and only has local channels, with no Netflix, Prime or screen sharing.

The neighbourhood was a real highlight: calm at any hour, yet lively nearby with plenty of good bars and restaurants. We also found a lovely square with tasty traditional street food. The city centre is about a 20-minute walk away. Our room was spotless and excellent value. I highly recommend it!

We had paid for the room in advance, but when we got there the entrance was locked and reception was empty. Someone answered the intercom but wouldn’t let us in, saying they were working at another hotel, even though it was freezing outside. After waiting around 45 minutes, we gave up and found somewhere else to stay. They then refused to refund us. This was awful service. Stay away.
