Hotel das Amoreiras - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

A peaceful spot that still makes a great base for exploring Lisbon. The hotel is beautifully designed, quiet and very comfortable, with modern but cozy rooms and beds that were perfect after long days out. The location is close to everything while still feeling tucked away. We especially liked the warm, inviting main-floor lounge and bar for a drink. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready with useful restaurant and sightseeing tips. We had a great stay at the Das Amoreiras.

We had three wonderful nights, even with rain every day. The neighborhood is a lovely, relaxed residential area without tourists. Breakfast was one of the best parts, from the delicious omelette and other treats to the attentive service. And the staff were exceptional, funny, friendly, professional and so attentive. I'd forgotten hotels could feel this close to perfect. We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast each day was delicious, with plenty of choice and good-quality food, and the bar was a highlight too. It has a lovely atmosphere and serves fantastic cocktails. The decor is beautifully thought out and gives the hotel a stylish, calm feel. Even the lovely scent throughout the hotel added something to the experience. From arrival on, every staff member we met was attentive, friendly and professional. We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon and would highly recommend it.

We spent four lovely nights at Hotel das Amoreiras this November. It's tucked away and well appointed, in a property made by combining two homes. They seem to have thought of every detail, from hot ginger tea at check-in to staff available around the clock who were accommodating. The à la carte breakfast is something you'll want to tell people about. It's the sort of place that makes you wonder why you ever stayed anywhere else.
