Our trip was really spoiled by this. We booked a quadruple room but arrived to find it was only a double, nothing like what we reserved. Customer service was impossible to reach at first, and when we finally got a response, it was rude and unhelpful. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’d been seeing this apartment building on my booking.com feed for a while and liked the design, so I finally decided to try it. Very disappointing choice. There’s no luggage storage in the building, so after checking out of my previous apartment at 11 a.m., I had to wait until my 3 p.m. check-in at Pop Saldanha. My previous place had sold out for the extension of my stay. The apartment was very dirty and looked heavily used, as if someone had only given it a quick wipe before I arrived. The sofa was disgustingly dirty with white stains, the kitchen had cooking mess left behind, the fake plants were dusty, and there was still toothpaste in the bathroom sink. I loved the listing photos, which made this all the more disappointing. After I spoke to the team by phone, they showed me a smaller apartment with the same problems. I asked for my money back and was told I’d have to pay for one night, which wasn’t acceptable. After I asked to speak with top management, they agreed that booking.com would give me a full refund. Very, very, very disappointed!

The beds are super comfortable, and the apartments are modern, clean, and well equipped. Every stay I’ve had here has been perfect. Code-based check-in is simple and makes arrival flexible, and the parking garage is a big plus, especially since it’s included in the price. Great service. I’m always glad to come back!

The location was one of the few real advantages: it’s away from the city center noise, and there’s free parking. Beyond that, we were disappointed. The photos made the flat look bigger than it was, and the furniture was old, the sofa dirty, and the cooking pots worn out and in need of replacement. There was even a dirty sponge left by the sink. The AC units didn’t cool enough, and the flat next door kept partying until early morning with loud noise and furniture being dragged, even though parties aren’t allowed. We booked through booking. Getting help with check-in was difficult because their site had technical problems. Messages sent through booking took forever to get a reply, so eventually we had to call their number.
