Nobis Hotel Stockholm, a Member of Design Hotels

The room on the third floor gets a lot of street noise, even though earplugs were provided. That’s my main complaint, and it was definitely noticeable. Otherwise, this was a splendid stay, and we’re here for nine nights, so I hope we get to return another time. Vincent at reception showed us around the main amenities and shared some interesting history about the location. Everyone else we spoke with was just as hospitable. The building mixes original historic areas with newer design, and there’s so much to look at that it feels a bit like an art museum. Breakfast at Noi had a wide selection of well-prepared options, including different breads, pastries, meats and cereals. I don’t usually eat at hotel restaurants, but we had credits to use, so we tried dinner at Noi too. It was a bit of a splurge, though the food had Michelin Star esque quality and portions. I’d especially recommend the duck breast.

Right in the middle of everything, with great service throughout. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, and it’s totally worth it for Amex members. I’ll stay here again when I come back to Sweden. Thanks to all the staff!

The rooms didn’t feel up to the standard I’d expect from a five-star hotel at this price. Our first one was tiny and smelled damp. We were moved to a second room overlooking the courtyard. It was clean and functional, but didn’t have the luxury feel or wow factor, and the living area seemed more like a solid three-star hotel. The bathroom was great, though. There were good parts to the stay too: the location is unbeatable, the staff were exceptionally professional and kind, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had lately. The cleanliness was top-notch as well, kudos to housekeeping. The hotel is great for breakfast or a drink, but the rooms need an upgrade to match the rest of its vibe.

The room was cozy and had been upgraded, and the front desk staff were nice. When I noticed an issue with the room lights, they fixed it while I was out. Nobis is in a great spot for attractions, shops and restaurants, and the building is iconic, with a story behind it. I’d love to stay again.
