It’s a clean, tidy place that suits backpackers or families travelling that way. The interior is a bit unusual, almost like a maze. Breakfast is on level 3, with a very nice view of Singapore river and Boat Quay. The bathroom was clean and good too.

Breakfast is decent, and having it in the common area with a great view of the quay makes for a nice start to the day. This is one of the few hostels in Singapore with an awesome view. I’ve had decent luck with the rooms despite what other reviewers say. One showerhead had poor water pressure, but the others were fine.

I picked this hostel for its location, right by the river and close to the MRT, with attractions easy to reach. The balcony view at night is so good it could rival a hotel. My single room had no window, no private toilet or shower, and no soundproofing. I could hear people walking in the hallway, and keeping the door open for air wasn't an option, which felt stuffy. For a one-night stop it worked, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. There are lots of stairs, so carrying heavy bags could be tough. Singapore accommodation is pricey compared with many Asian cities, and this hostel is reasonably priced, with inexpensive single rooms despite the basic facilities.

The riverside spot is the highlight, with the rest of the city easy to get to. Inside, it's a pretty standard hostel: basic beds, tiny rooms and bathrooms, and a layout that feels a bit like a maze. That odd layout gives the place some charm.
