Circular House

Getting around by public transport was easy from this well-located hotel. The room was standard but fine for resting, and the toilet and shower room were good. They provide one towel for your stay, and the luggage locker felt secure. Breakfast each morning included plenty of bread, plus tea or coffee. I’d trust this hotel to be part of a good holiday.

The booking platform told me to contact Circular House, but there was no way to get through: nobody answered the phone number on its website, and there’s no email address. I was also told to cancel through the platform for a full refund. When I arrived for my three-night stay, I found a notice on the door saying the hotel was closed because it had no electricity. I hadn’t received any email or message beforehand. If I’d known before travelling to Singapore, I could have cancelled and avoided a lot of stress and inconvenience. Agoda simply directed me back to the property, even though it was closed and unreachable. I’ve used Agoda for a long time, and I’ve never had an issue handled this poorly. I was deeply disappointed with both the booking and the lack of support. I wouldn’t recommend booking here. If I could give zero stars, I would. Don’t book this hotel.

I arrived at 1am and found the venue shut because of a power problem. Nobody had tried to let me know, so I was left stranded and had to choose a much more expensive hotel. I’d only been offered this place as a special two days before I was due to arrive.

I booked through *g*d* last December for March 6-8, 2026. On the day I arrived, I discovered the hotel was temporarily closed. The hotel hadn’t emailed me, and *g*d* was still advertising rooms. I couldn’t reach the number posted on the door either. It was a huge waste of time, and I was very disappointed. I almost couldn’t find another hotel at that point.
