A lovely, affordable hostel on a cozy local street, and we’d recommend it and come back. The industrial concrete look is done really nicely. It’s in a great location, though it can be hard to reach someone because reception is empty most of the time.

The room smelled awful, and the odor only eased a little when the air conditioning was running at full blast. There was no internet in the rooms, so I had to go down to the lobby whenever I needed Wi-Fi. At check-in, they put me in a room with sheets that hadn’t been changed after the previous guest because “the cleaner wasn't there.” That was disgusting and unacceptable. The staff came across as completely unprofessional. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, and nobody is at the front desk until 2:00 PM, so there’s no help in the morning. Avoid this place if you care about your health and nerves. Bangkok has much better options for the same price.

The price and location are good, and the place feels new. The rooms are kind of grim, with unfinished gray walls that give a bit of a dungeon feeling. The air conditioning works well, the windows open, and the bathrooms are nice.
