Yes kaosan

The rooms were horrible, with no outlets to charge a phone and very uncomfortable beds. The woman at reception was rude and disrespectful, the worst person I've met in Thailand. She wouldn't cooperate or help with anything. A terrible place, even for one night. Don't stay here.

The hostel is fine, and it's perfectly located if you want to be near the Khaosan action. Noise didn't bother me since I usually got back around 3 AM, a little drunk. But the morning-shift female staff member treated me rudely, which was surprising. I booked a single room and stayed two nights, and I understand you get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean I deserved that treatment. She's been the rudest person I've encountered at any accommodation on my trips in Thailand. She may be the same woman described in other reviews, and I don't think she should be dealing with guests.

The location was great for the price, and there’s a party spot right beside the guesthouse, so it could suit people who like that. I didn’t enjoy staying here, though. The blankets felt very cheap, the bedsheets and room decor were plain, and the reception staff had moody, unfriendly attitudes with no smiles. They only take cash, with no card or QR payment. Also, it’s not suitable for smokers.

We’re leaving after just one night of a two-night booking and finding somewhere else. The room had no ventilation, and the window couldn’t be opened. With it over 32 inside and outside, the AC at least worked, but the room smelled of mold. We had to leave our door open to the hallway in the morning to get a little air. We woke nauseous at 5am, maybe from the mold, who knows. The party next door carries on until 4am, so it feels like it’s happening in your bedroom. The location is lousy too. We booked because of the “excellent” Booking.com reviews, but I’m sure they’re fake. I don’t understand its high Google Maps ranking either. This place is pretty horrible.
