Yummy House

The two things that kept this from being a five-star stay for me: you have to walk through a restaurant to reach the hotel, which felt a bit odd to me, and the gap under the door lets enough light in to brighten the whole room at night. The gap is about two inches. Otherwise, friendly staff and good value. My room was large, the bed was comfortable, and there was a fridge but no safe. The hotel is very well located near the BTS and Pratunam night market.

The rooms were clean and getting to the BTS was an easy walk. It was worth making the climb, even though the place is on the third floor above a restaurant. The staff were so friendly and kind, and even offered to carry my bags up to my room. Their service was better than I expected, and I left feeling rested with a memorable stay.

Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. The room isn't especially soundproof, so street sounds and hallway noise can come through. I really liked how clean the bathroom was, and the room was clean and spacious too. The AC gets nice and cold. There's no fridge in the room, but you can leave food at the restaurant downstairs, which is worth trying. The hotel is on the third floor with no elevator, though the friendly staff are happy to help carry your things. Everyone was helpful, and I'd recommend it.

This was one of the worst places we've stayed in Bangkok, even though most of the other places were cheaper. Our front-facing room was very noisy, with a busy road and construction outside. The room and bathroom were basic. There was no lift, and reaching the room meant going through a restaurant. We didn't see any staff after about 5 pm.
