I felt safe here as a woman traveling alone, and the other guests were really friendly. The peaceful setting was a big plus, even though the cockerel got going very early on a few mornings. The pool was clean, pleasantly warm, and saltwater. The room had a nice layout and decor, and the bedding and towels were new, clean, and soft. The bed itself was a bit firm, though. The hostess was helpful when I arrived very early at the wrong one of the two sites. I’d happily return, but a few things could be improved. There weren’t many hangers, and the balcony had flimsy folding deck chairs. The bathroom ceiling leaked, and the lampshade was very dusty. Since the rooms are concrete to help keep them cool, noises from upstairs and outside carry clearly. Gaps around the doors and windows also let insects in when the light was on for reading. I would’ve liked advance notice about the ground-levelling machinery in the field behind the property so I could’ve gone out. Glass water bottles might be a better environmental choice. A room guide with details about the property, food ordering, and wildlife would help, and I’d have liked a look at the rooms in the other buildings for a possible next visit.
