Feri Suites

We booked for four, but the apartment had just one single bed and one double. They offered to turn the sofa into a bed, though it was only a regular sofa. The room itself was spacious and conveniently close to the Ferry station Ortaköy, but there were no teabags or basic kitchen appliances such as a microwave or oven. The apartment also seemed run down from poor maintenance and lack of renovation. At night, music from a nearby bar continued until early morning, making sleep impossible. The bedding was uncomfortable, the pillows felt extremely cheap, and the bathroom had visible mold and fungi. The location was handy, but the missing amenities, sleeping setup, and cleanliness made this a disappointing stay.

The main problem for us was the shower water. It cooled down so quickly that we had to shower fast. That was in our apartment, though I can't say whether other rooms had the same issue. We also didn't get any room cleaning. A nearby bar made it hard to sleep, with loud music, noisy people, and disrespectful bodyguards. We told the staff, but nothing changed. I know the hotel isn't responsible for other people's noise and behavior. The rooms themselves were lovely and spacious, and the place was otherwise great.

The location worked well for reaching the center by ferry and avoiding traffic. The view from the windows was of walls and rooftops, with a noisy restaurant below. The shower holder was broken and hard to adjust, and the old shower cabin had black corners. The best thing was the Egyptian cotton bedsheets left from Radisson. There was a washing machine, but when we asked for detergent, we were told to buy it ourselves. If we needed 100 grams, we had to carry home a 3 kg package. Saving on detergent for guests seems too cheap.

Writing on behalf of Sima: after two months of moving between hotels around Istanbul, I can say Feri Suites stood out as the best in town. The comfort, elegance, and service were beyond what I expected, and if I return to Istanbul, I'd choose it again without hesitation. The suites had remarkable attention to detail, and I was welcomed warmly from the moment I arrived. Tina and Matin were especially helpful, meeting every request with a smile and making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks to the whole Feri Suites team, especially Tina and Matin. I'd highly recommend it for a luxurious, memorable stay.
