Immortelle Hotel

I wish I could give this minus stars. I booked 15 days for €337 for myself and my elderly parents. The next day, my father had a heart attack and was hospitalized, so I had to change our flights. I asked the hotel to cancel the booking but keep the last night, depending on his health. I contacted them through Booking. At first they said they understood and would help, but after several postponements, I felt they were deliberately dragging things out so I would miss the cancellation deadline. On the day the reservation began, they refused my request and kept half the amount I’d paid. They showed no professionalism or transparency. I feel the staff took advantage of customers in a difficult situation and cared about money rather than clients. Avoid this place and don’t waste your money. If anyone needs evidence, I can send them the chat with the hotel. Do not book!

I checked in yesterday and the room was tidy. They helped with my luggage and replied very quickly to my WhatsApp message. I needed to add one more night, and they gave it to me at the same rate as online.

There are plenty of shops around the hotel, and the staff were very helpful. But rooms only got service when we asked, and the bathroom needed building work. Our toilet was jammed against the sink cabinet, which had been broken for some time, and the bathroom smelled of wet wood. This was my first and last stay here.

After three nights, six of the twelve people in our group had become sick. The hotel was in such poor condition that it shouldn’t be hosting guests. Our room was dirty, the sheets stained, and there was a strong musty smell. We found mold in several places, and snails were crawling on the walls. Shockingly, we even found one in a bed. The room door wouldn’t lock, which made us feel very unsafe. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I absolutely don’t recommend it. Save your money and stay elsewhere.
