Our room overlooked the cricket ground and was very quiet. The hotel is stylish and wonderful, with a pleasant reception area where you can help yourself to coffee and biscuits. Check-in was efficient, and the Ukrainian woman on reception was charming. The staff were very friendly. We'll definitely come back for another stay.

Our Abbey King room had amazing views and a very luxurious bathroom. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant, found plenty to choose from on the menus, and everything was delicious. Tom and Evie gave us especially excellent service, though all the hotel and restaurant staff were great from start to finish. We were made to feel welcome before and throughout our stay, with special touches for our birthday and anniversary celebrations. Camille and Valentyna at reception deserve a special mention. We had an excellent time with my partner and look forward to coming back. Definitely recommend.

The Bird in Bath has a beautiful setting with city views and a stylish but relaxed interior. It feels special without being too formal, so it works for an occasion or a laid-back meal. The modern British menu has seasonal touches, and everything we tried was well presented and full of flavour. Portions were generous without being heavy, and the food and service both showed attention to detail. The decor, atmosphere, and plating all feel thoughtfully put together. A great Bath option if you want somewhere with personality and a polished but comfortable dining experience.

Even just a day into our two-night stay, I’m already impressed. Everyone has been so kind and ready to help, and they made us feel welcome right away. Our bags were heavy and awkward, but the staff took them straight up to our lovely room. Such a charming place, and a really special start to our first days in the UK.

The friends I booked in here for the weekend felt really well cared for, especially by Elizabeth on reception, who was lovely. They also had a fabulous breakfast, and the rooms at the back have gorgeous views across the Rec towards the Abbey.
