Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire Hotel London

Alex at reception was so friendly and spoke with us in Italian and Portuguese, which made us feel really welcome. He also helped us with our luggage, and we appreciated that a lot. The glass of prosecco on arrival was lovely too. My best friend and I spent a night here and found it super comfortable. The food and drinks were amazing. Radisson is always a good choice for us, and we’ll come back.

The room, 209, was spotless and really comfortable. Housekeeping kept it immaculate and even replenished the biscuits each day. We also had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the delicious, beautifully presented food. The staff were warm and happy to talk us through the dishes. When we arrived early in London, Alex at reception was welcoming and arranged an early check-in, which was a lovely surprise. Later, while I was queuing in the rain for theatre tickets, my daughter had trouble using my card to rent an umbrella. The staff lent her one anyway, a generous gesture we really appreciated. The kindness of the team, along with the food and service, made this a five-star stay. We can’t wait to return to London and stay here again.

The location was ideal for our theatre weekend, about five minutes on foot from Noel Coward Theatre and the West End, and similarly close to the National Gallery and Trafalgar Square. There was an ice rink outside the hotel at Leicester Square when we visited, and a Christmas market in Trafalgar Square. So much to see nearby. We’d arrived in the morning to leave our bags, but our room was ready, so we were able to check in early. Ali was helpful from the moment we arrived and made my birthday feel extra special by bringing a little birthday dessert to our door. With the complimentary prosecco too, we felt thoroughly pampered. The room and beds were comfortable, with everything we needed. Breakfast was exceptional, and our waitress took great care of us, checking we had what we wanted and keeping our tea topped up. We felt safe and welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you, Ali, for making this one of our best London breaks in a long time.

Alex gave us outstanding help during our stay, which made a good experience even better. The hotel was comfortable and welcoming, right in the middle of Soho and Oxford Street. It was easy to get around and explore from there. I’d highly recommend it for a central London visit.
