The first inn I ever stayed at, and I really loved it. Most of the staff were kind and helpful, and even after hours they made sure I could get what I needed. I came with family, who paid twice as much at a nearby hotel, and I’m sure I had the better stay. The only rough patch was checking in late. I called to say I’d be delayed, and the woman who answered was very nice and accommodating. When I called again because I’d be later still, a man picked up while helping another guest. He sounded irritated and hung up on me. Just asking me to hold would have made a big difference. Without that call, I’d have rated the place five stars across the board. I’d recommend it and stay here again next time I’m in Camden. Hopefully that man has learned some professionalism by then, or I won’t run into him.

The room was fine, with a comfortable mattress and a cute shell sink, and it had a fridge but no table for eating. It’s a small, charming New England hotel right downtown, an easy walk to the water. The address says Tannery lane, though the entrance is on Washington street. There isn’t much service beyond providing a room, and the front desk closes at 6:30, so don’t arrive late! 😂 There’s no elevator, and the toilet seats are low, so this wouldn’t work well for someone with mobility difficulties.

We slept really well thanks to the best bedding, and liked having coffee and seating in the common areas. Everything is within walking distance. We loved our stay at the Inn and will definitely be back.

Our room was huge, with a spacious bathroom and comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly. We also enjoyed the lovely common space and the amazing location. We booked at the last minute while traveling through the area with our family of four, and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The room was right over the river. We could hear people going up and down the stairs because our room was just below them. It’s a minor thing, and understandable in such an old building. We’d happily book here again.
