Motel 6 Cedar Rapids, IA

The non-smoking room still smelled like cigarettes. The staff also accused me of being rude because I didn't want to make conversation and said my room was clean. I wish I'd acted worse. These people were miserable to deal with. Spend $30 more and stay somewhere else in the area.

At first the place seemed good, but room service never cleaned. I got sick and found black mold behind the bed. We told the staff and asked for our money back, but they made me check out instead. Don't stay here.

The location is especially convenient, right beside a McDonald's and next to a Casey's. Once I'd built a working relationship with the staff, they let me check in early. Great service.

The staff were understanding and helpful when our allergies and other health issues forced us to cancel and find another place. The rooms seemed clean, but the smell made them feel unclean, and even the smoke-free rooms smelled of smoke. The booking site reviews didn't tell the whole story. The hotel was full and noisy, and I even watched a mouse doing donuts in the parking lot.
