Residence Inn Charlotte Steele Creek

I had to settle for the Residence Inn near the airport when this hotel was fully booked, even though this was my second business stay here in two weeks. I told the manager as I left for work, and by the time I returned she'd emailed to say she'd canceled that other reservation and found me a room here. Andrea, thanks so much for being so proactive and knowing how much I wanted to stay at this location. That's customer service above and beyond, and I couldn't have been happier. The area feels very safe, with shopping and restaurants conveniently close, plus a new Harris Teeter about a block away.

Our one-bedroom suite had plenty of space and a view we liked so much that we left the curtains open the whole time, which I never do. The kitchen came with an oven and clean, useful cookware, and the bedding, even on the sofa bed, felt especially fresh and comfortable. The place is truly as clean as its sign claims, and the managers have a team that keeps those standards up. Breakfast was plentiful and stayed stocked despite the crowds. I can't think of a real downside except having to check out. We’ll be back in two weeks, and this will be our regular choice around here from now on.

We had a comfortable, beautiful room in a great spot near shopping and restaurants. There was a good range at the free breakfast, and the concierge was pleasant and gave us useful Charlotte tips, including restaurant and activity recommendations. You can also use the pool, gym, and laundry room, or sit and work or relax with coffee, which is available all day. I'd definitely recommend it.

During the 2026 snowstorm, Joel and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful whenever I was in the lobby. It was a stressful stretch, and I saw them helping other guests too. The maintenance crew kept the sidewalks shoveled as well. I hope management recognizes the team for the work they did under pressure. Thank you, Tom.
