Springhill Suites By Marriott Dothan

The suites are roomy, with high ceilings and a bathroom that has two sinks. The shower pressure was phenomenal. The rooms can compete with five-star hotels, and we’ll definitely stay here again when we’re passing through Dothan.

We came here in July 2025 after the hotel we’d booked for our family reunion sold out. The kids loved the pool, fitness center, fire pit, and grassy area out front, where they could play and toss a football around. I wish we’d had more time to use the property grill. The one-bedroom suite was clean and spacious, with a full kitchen for cooking and storing food, and breakfast was included in the lobby each morning. The location was convenient for getting around, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The bright, open community space by the lobby was a hit, too. One night we stayed there until 2 a.m., playing cards and board games the hotel kindly provided. We made lasting memories, and it really felt like a home away from home. I’ll absolutely stay here again.

For a quick work trip, this was a great hotel. It looks nicely appointed and quite new. It’s on Dothan’s main strip, with restaurants and stores a five to ten minute drive away.

I had three breakfasts during my stay, and the selection rotated each day. It was very nice, while still keeping the basics like waffles, yogurt, cereal, milk, and juice. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff greeted me warmly when I checked in. If I’m back in Dothan, I’ll stay here again!
