Travelodge Everett City Center

It's quiet, and there are some nice restaurants sort of nearby. The rest of the place feels worn out. I wouldn't suggest bringing kids, since it's not the best part of town. Travel lodge is at the bottom tier for luxury among Wyndham hotels, and this one is showing its age. There are cracks in the walls and floor, and it's dingy all around. They seem to have tried a little revamp with new flooring, but the bathroom, walls, and paint still look old. I've stayed at quite a few hotels in the past few months, and this was probably the most worn down.

I was impressed by the desk staff's patience and polite interest in what guests were talking about. With convention visitors regularly staying at the motel, they strike a good balance: friendly and professional, kind but firm, and sometimes willing to go out of their way to give a little extra help. I booked in person on the day and was happy with both the room and the service from night attendant Noor and manager Rekha. The room and bed were comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet in the evenings. The bedroom furnishings and linens were in good shape, and the heater kept things warm. The bathroom was so little that shower steam warmed it quickly. At bedtime I shut the bathroom door because its privacy window let in the hotel's exterior lights. When I'm back in the area, I'll be glad to stay at this Travelodge again.

The room could have been cleaner, and the sink had hair in it. Our toilet leaked too. For the price, it felt fairly reasonable, but I wish they'd done a better job cleaning. The location was great, within walking distance of lots of restaurants and amazing coffee shops. The bed was comfortable, and the TV had good channels, including The Office, when it worked. The office staff were very friendly.

The shower was just what I needed, a really hot one that kept running for a long time. I hadn't had one that good in ages. Thank you, and I'd definitely recommend stopping here! The night manager went out of his way to check me in. None of my credit cards worked properly: the chips were bad, the strip on the back didn't work, and tap wasn't working either. My name wasn't on my virtual card, but he graciously accepted it.
