The rooms are great, but getting to one felt life-threatening. The elevator dropped from around the 6th or 7th floor to the ground, and when I got trapped inside, the alarm was broken and I had no signal to call for help. I called corporate and got no response, so I filed a complaint with TDLR. Eventually someone called the elevator to the 12th floor, and it dropped to the ground before finally letting me out. When I complained, staff said they knew there were problems and thought someone might be on site. They still left the elevator open because it was one of only two working. Then, with a broken shoulder, I was made to carry all my luggage down 11 flights to my lower room. I waited two hours sleeping in my trunk, after staff told me to look for their staff to clean my new room. Third visit here, never again. The staff treatment was horrible. Thanks, Brad. Your response focused on points instead of securing the area and making sure nobody got hurt. That was a serious issue, and the handling was horrible.

Brad at the front desk made check-in easy, and the airport shuttle was really convenient. My room was comfortable and clean, though a few lights and outlets didn't work. Breakfast was delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy. I'd happily stay again.

Michael made the shuttle ride especially pleasant. He was on time, friendly, and went out of his way to make the transfer smooth. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were professional and welcoming. I had a great stay at the Hilton Houston North and would highly recommend it.

Rita W. at the front desk was outstanding: friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, patient, well informed, and proactive. Nothing seemed like a bother. Ricardo, the airport shuttle driver, went beyond what was expected too. Everyone else was helpful and professional as well. One of my best Marriott experiences.
