Days Inn & Suites Lubbock Medical Center

We didn’t try the free breakfast, but it looked like the usual cereal, coffee and waffles. Even with a few scuff marks on the floor, the room and shared areas were well maintained. We had a safe, very comfortable stay, with spacious clean rooms, comfortable beds and A/C that worked well. The staff were friendly, and I’d stay again and recommend it to others. We were there for two nights, Saturday and Sunday, during a very busy weekend when Lubbock hotels were sold out for a large event at the Texas Tech stadium.

The rooms are spacious and nice, and I love that there’s no carpet, so they don’t smell like the previous guest’s pets. The night staff were sweet, and they’re pet friendly. One of the nicest places to stay in lbk. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was the best part. The hotel waffles were the best I’ve had, and I’d stay here again if I’m in the area. There was a $100 deposit regardless of how I paid. Check-in hit a snag, but the guy at the desk sorted it out and I got checked in as planned. Once my friend and I got to the room, we found a roach. She killed it and got rid of it for me since I’m terrified of them, and we didn’t see any others. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.

The breakfast was great, and the maids were super. Everyone was polite and attentive to what we needed. Josh, the young man working nights, was professional and on top of everything. When we went out late, he was always visible in the lobby and checked whether we needed anything. Kudos to this location.
