We stayed for MSOE Homecoming weekend and had a great time. The location was perfect, with everything we needed to attend within walking distance. We liked the old charm, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The mini kitchen was just the right size for the two of us and our puppy, and we used it to make breakfast both mornings. She loved watching everyone in the Courtyard below from the window.

Such a wonderful place for a longer stay, too. Everyone was so nice and helpful, from the staff to the other guests. Maddie was especially sweet and helped me even though I had to shorten my stay. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the Milwaukee area, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!

There’s no elevator, and even the rooms on the first floor mean taking the stairs, so keep that in mind. Still, this renovated old hotel has a lot of charm. The detailed woodwork in the lovely lobby and hallways is beautiful, and both the breakfast crew and front desk staff were pure class. It’s in a quiet spot, with a convenient location and plenty of lovely houses nearby to look at.

We were so comfortable here that we added another night. Check-in was easy, and the friendly staff went out of their way to help, which meant we could enjoy the city and its great food without worrying about where we were staying. The breakfast hash browns are 🔥.

We had a great time walking around the neighborhood, and Safina is only about four minutes away on foot. I added a few pictures of the restaurant and our walk there. I highly recommend eating at Safina and enjoying the stroll. The hotel itself is a lovely old place, with clean rooms and really nice staff. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. 10/10, I'd stay again, 100%.
