HarborWalk Inn

We stayed in the Otter Suite for two nights on a birthday trip, and it was roomy for me, my husband, and our one-year-old. The patio faces the water and rock, and the enclosed grassy area let our little one run in and out safely. There wasn’t much in the room for him to break, either. Inside were a king bed, chairs, and a table. The bathroom had a cute shell sink, a shower with three heads, and a lit vanity mirror with a small magnifying mirror. They left two robes and nice towels. There was a mini fridge with a water pitcher and a coffee maker in the room, plus a pebble ice maker, water machine, and microwave just outside. The hotel also had extra mugs, plastic wine glasses, an electric hot water pitcher, more coffee and tea, sweeteners, and shower supplies. We usually buy bottled water for a short trip, but didn’t need to this time. The room was clean and comfortable, and now I don’t want to stay anywhere else. We arrived late after going to sensario, and the woman helping us was great about making sure we got into the room and explaining that parking was right out front.

The balcony was a highlight, with cozy seats and its own fireplace. I sat out there with a snack that night and coffee the next morning. Our room at the HarborWalk Inn was immaculate, the bed was amazing, and the fireplace inside was lovely. The young woman who showed us around was sweet and helpful. They also offer a golf cart ride, so you don’t have to move your car if you find a spot up front. We had a great stay and will be back soon. Thank you!

We spent every night on the big, comfortable sectional on the deck, watching otters, seals, sea lions, and one incredible offshore thunderstorm. The deck looked straight across the estuary, with an unobstructed bay view, and the Inn and Jellyfish Room both face the water. Our room was spacious, with lots of drawers and storage, and the bed was super comfortable. The Inn is an easy walk along the waterfront to the main Embarcadero and into town for plenty of dining options. It was our first time in Morro Bay, and we can’t wait to return. Everyone gave extremely personable service, especially owners Cherise and Travis. Their care for hospitality shows throughout the Inn. Very highly recommended.

We were really pleased with the hotel and our large Jellyfish suite. The huge patio overlooked the bay and had a great view of Morro Rock, a fire pit, and a large sofa. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The TV had Netflix, so we logged into our account to watch our shows. The toilet seat was heated, and the shower had a front head, a handheld one, and an overhead one. The fireplace showed flames on a display rather than a real fire, but vents let us dial up warm air. The HVAC switched automatically between heat and air based on the temperature we set. Parking is a challenge because the hotel has none. Our neighbors in the room next to us were extremely noisy; we called the desk, and staff got them to quiet down.
