Meadows Inn Bed & Breakfast

We spent a lovely afternoon on the screened porch, and the food was a treat throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good, with special dietary needs accommodated if you let them know ahead of time. The shared fridge had Pepsi, water, and white wine; red wine, coffee, tea, popcorn, and a delicious homemade snack were always available too. Linda greeted us warmly and was accommodating, and it's clear the staff care about guests enjoying New Bern and the Inn. We loved the visit so much that we bought ornaments of the Inn, along with other goodies they sell there. I only wish we'd had more time. I booked Meadows Inn for a mother-daughter getaway, and it was just right. Parking behind the Inn was convenient and felt more secure than parking on the street. Our clean room looked exactly like the pictures. We could walk to the waterfront and to Persimmons for dinner. Don't skip that place, it was delicious!

My first trip to New Bern, and I'm already thinking about coming back, mostly so I can stay here again. The Meadows was in a stunning, super convenient spot, with everything in walking distance. Linda, Amy, and the rest of the staff took such good care of us and paid attention to the details. My room was beautiful and sparkling clean, and the homemade food was delicious. I can't say enough good things about the stay.

We enjoyed winding down on the back porch with a complimentary glass of wine after sightseeing, sometimes before dinner in town and sometimes before bed. Breakfast brought something different each morning, since Linda takes pride in changing up the entree. We came to New Bern for a family wedding, and chose Meadows Inn Boutique BnB for its location and personal feel compared with a standard hotel room. Linda was accommodating through the booking and email exchanges before we arrived, then showed us around the BnB and shared the history of New Bern and Meadows Inn. Our Palace Suite was spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished with antiques. I highly recommend booking a suite here. Linda and her staff knocked it out of the park!

It felt like staying at a family member's house, and Linda made our first-ever B&B visit a hard act to follow. The rooms and hospitality were excellent, and breakfast was amazing. She knew how to handle Gluten Free/Celiac needs and accommodated them.
