The Vine Hotel Bronx

I’m concerned that activity at this hotel appears to involve trafficking of minors. When I called about it, I was told the manager wasn’t there, and the name I was given later appeared to be false. A person who identified themself as “T” seemed involved and said there were no safety precautions, and that anyone could enter the property without restriction. Given the seriousness of this and the potential danger to minors, police will follow up to investigate further.

Outside, the place looked beautiful, and the staff were very nice. The stay itself was just okay. In our first room, the sheets hadn’t been made and there was an opened condom wrapper on the table, so we asked to change rooms and they did. In the replacement room, the sheets had marks that looked like pee and blood, and someone had used the bathroom without flushing. We stayed anyway and covered the suspicious stains with a towel. Then, at 4-5 am hours before we were due to leave, work in the room to our left made a lot of noise, along with a woman crying there. It was hard to sleep.

The front desk team knew the area well and were professional. My room was large, with a comfortable bed and good amenities. It was clean, smelled really nice, and the rate was great compared with other nearby hotels. I had a great stay and highly recommend it.

I was traveling alone during xmas 2025 and had a good three-day stay, even though the hotel is far out in the Bronx. The annoying part was the key card: it kept getting demagnitized and locking me out. Housekeepers also let doors slam while turning rooms over, which distracted me at night.
