AMSI Nob Hill (AMSI-SF.DNLG9418)

The old-fashioned elevator was such a fun touch, and I loved the view from my room. Nob Hill Inn has loads of charm, friendly staff, a great location, and a fair price. Best hotel stay I've had in SF so far, and I've found my go-to for future San Francisco visits.

We were given a room nearer to the rest of our group after the front desk kindly moved us. The room was clean and had what we needed, and the bed was really comfortable. Everyone we dealt with was welcoming. I can see this being a good choice for a longer visit.

We spent two weeks at Nob Hill Inn, and the roomy Huntington Suite suited our family really well. The staff were friendly and quick to bring us anything we needed. I'll book NHI again next time I'm traveling with the whole family.

I felt at home here, and it was easy to extend my stay when I needed to. My room was small, but cozy and comforting, with lovely bay windows and a historic claw foot tub. I really appreciate the classic San Francisco character, and how much care they put into keeping the building beautiful. My only gripe is that there aren't microwaves or refrigerators, but hey, it's SF! The kindness I got from the staff meant a lot. On my first night I was in a rough place mentally after recently getting out of a domestic violence situation. The woman at the front desk welcomed me warmly, offered water, gave me a hug when she could tell I was having a hard time, and showed me to my room. Her husband was friendly too when he chatted with me the next day about the antique coffee table I'd bought from them about a year earlier during their renovations. They'd sold it to me for $40, and it's beautiful and has held up so well.
