Chestnut Street is nearby, with plenty of good restaurants, shops, and coffee spots. Little Original Joe’s was one of the restaurants, and the Palace of Fine Arts was an easy walk too. The property seemed safe and well maintained, and our room was clean, with furniture in good shape and a safe for valuables. My wife and I stayed for a December 2025 weekend. As a Hilton Diamond member who travels for work and personally, I’m selective, and the Infinity Hotel was a great choice. The staff were welcoming, especially Erik, who looked after us and suggested restaurants that made the stay better. Twisted Cafe is attached and had excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches we could charge to our room. We enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay again in San Francisco.

The area is safe and charming, with lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby, and it’s close to the Presidio and Marina for walking or running. Twisted Street Cafe in the building had excellent breakfast and drinks. Our room was nice, with a small kitchenette and a good bathroom. I tried the Peloton for the first time on a rainy morning in the lounge, which has three brand new bikes. I’m glad we chose this place from the several hotels we considered in SF. I’d stay here again on another trip.

The rooftop patios were a highlight, with views over busy Lombard Street or toward the Golden Gate Bridge. The rooms are spacious for SF, and the mini fridge has a freezer, with a microwave and Keurig stocked with Mauds coffee. The newer Samsung TVs have Netflix. There are also wireless chargers, ear plugs, and water bottle refill stations on every floor. The bathrooms come with a hairdryer and even a linen steamer. The place seems recently remodeled with a modern feel. Check-in was easy, and the service was friendly. Fahrid took time to explain the area, share local tips, and point me to restaurants worth trying. Twisted Tea is attached and has good breakfast and lunch options. Being able to walk to the Presidio, palace of fine arts, and more is another big plus. I’m a longtime Hilton Diamond member and usually choose DoubleTree or HGI, so I was surprised by how much I liked this Hilton Tapestry property. What a hidden gem, highly recommend it.

The neighborhood is excellent, with a wide range of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel also has impressive outdoor decks on the 4th floor. But the stay had its drawbacks. I was there four nights and asked for housekeeping every other day, yet nobody came. The rooms have a decent under-counter fridge, microwave, and kitchen sink, but they’re tight, with no place to sit and very little desk space for work. The windows look into interior hallways or light wells, so you have to pick between daylight and privacy. One of the nicer places in this part of San Francisco, though the guest experience is mixed.

The hotel worked well for what we needed, and there’s a good spot beside it for breakfast and coffee. But call the hotel itself before booking to confirm the bed. Hilton’s ads list king and queen beds, while the rooms only have doubles. The reservationist claimed those larger beds were available, but they weren’t when we arrived. Hilton’s reservationist also said there was an airport van. There isn’t, so you’ll need to Uber or take a train or bus into SF.
