We liked this stay enough to book here again on our way home from our road trip from WI to MT. It's a little farther from I-90, but worth the detour: the rooms were clean, breakfast was great, and there were many restaurant options nearby. Jackie made our morning. She greeted us at breakfast, was incredibly nice, kept the breakfast area in good shape, and really made our day. She's a stellar employee. The gentleman at the evening desk could improve his Brand representation, but Jackie more than made up for it. Thanks, Jackie!

Our room was clean and fine, but breakfast left a bad impression. At 8:58am I just wanted a yogurt from the fridge, and it was locked up tight. I was six months pregnant, and it felt like they couldn't spare a $1 yogurt for a gold+ member with two minutes left, though maybe their clocks were fast. The breakfast attendant didn't even say they were closed, just ignored me as I tried the fridge. I tried corn flakes instead, but there was no milk. It felt like sneaking food, while she seemed annoyed and awkwardly snatched things away without saying anything, as if she had to be somewhere by 9:01. At other Marriotts, breakfast starts winding down at closing time, but staff stay polite if you refill a drink five minutes later. They should make clear that breakfast ends before 9, with no leeway or courtesy.

Our room was clean, as was the lobby, and the king bed was great. The pullout bed, though, wasn't comfortable. The room smelled a little musty at first, but seemed better once we ran the air for a while. Front desk service was exceptional, and the breakfast team was phenomenal with a good range of items. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Sioux Falls area.
