The room was a letdown from the moment I arrived. The Booking photos showed something completely different, and behind the dark film on the window there was only the neighboring building's wall, so hardly any daylight came in. Noise came through constantly too: neighbors' alarms, someone blowing their nose, and every call of the elevator. The plumbing made the stay worse. Water splashed out of my toilet bowl whenever someone else flushed, sometimes waking me at night. It got on the toilet and floor, smelled awful, and felt unhygienic and unsafe, especially if it happened while I was using it. There was also an open pipe in the shower room that dripped nonstop, leaving the toilet floor wet every day. Staff were rude and didn't speak English. One morning a staff member woke me with aggressive knocking because she needed to read the utility meter. I understand that had to be done, but it could have been arranged at a convenient time. The pounding made me feel like I owed someone money. There were always rags at the entrance, and laundry and room cleaning cost extra, with no notice on Booking. When I asked about the price, a woman told me to give her whatever I wanted. This was the worst rental stay I've had in over 12 years of traveling. I asked for a discount because of all this and nobody answered. lol

My husband and I came to Hanoi for infertility treatment. The woman there accused me of entertaining lots of young men and using too much toilet paper, supposedly causing the toilet to clog. She made up claims and insulted us. The landlord said nothing, and she then demanded 200,000 VND for the clog. They should close soon if this is how they do business. If we don't get an apology, there'll be many more one-star reviews.

I booked five days, and nobody cleaned my room once. The toilet smelled so bad I couldn't sleep. I asked the manager several times to move rooms, but they wouldn't help, and there was no support plan either. The wifi was slow and sometimes froze 🙂 I left a review on Traveloka first, but the hotel never contacted me, so I had to give it one star on Google Maps.

My best friend and I stayed one night, and the service was awful. The housekeeper was rude and dishonest. This was the first time I'd run into someone so difficult at a place like this. Being older doesn't automatically make someone respectable. The owner should look at how staff treat guests and retrain them. The housekeeper challenged us with, "you will never come back here." She's right, I definitely won't return. Sincerely!
