Eco Backpackers Hostel

The bathrooms are clean and modern, and the beds give you plenty of privacy, though they’re still missing curtains. Each evening there’s a free beer, which is a nice touch. Guests take their drinks up to the rooftop, then head to the adjacent bui vien street for food or more drinks. Housekeeping comes around early, about 8, and makes noise. They also turn off the AC while cleaning, and only staff have the remote, so the room gets really hot and it’s hard to sleep.

The rooftop on the seventh floor is a real highlight, and they have happy hour too. It’s a quiet, well-located hostel in HCMC, with roomy dorms, private beds and a double bathroom. A good fit for backpackers in Saigon.

The common room feels cozy, and there’s complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. The bedrooms and bunks are spacious, cool, and the bathrooms were clean. Staff were really hospitable. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a backpacking stay.

I was in a private room, which had a big bathroom, AC, and a TV. The location was good, and the staff were helpful, though their English wasn’t very strong. They gave out free beer in the evening and a hot drink in the morning. At night, they also made sure my motorbike was locked up.
