The hotel offers fair value for a relatively low price compared with similar places nearby, and I’d personally recommend it. The room was clean, furnished, and a reasonable size. We had a triple room with three single beds. There’s no coffee maker, and the shower is a bit outdated but clean. Both the room and shower have heating. Kiosks and a Lidl supermarket open until 21:00 are nearby. We felt quite safe in the area, even though there are immigrants around. The hotel is next to the Munich Theater, about 400 meters from Munich Central Station, a 15-minute walk, and around 25 minutes on foot from the Old Town. Reception is open 07:00 to 22:30. Once it closes, the main entrance is shut, so you need the side door key provided with the room keys. The elevator also stops running then. It’s relatively small and fits two people and two suitcases. The hotel has five floors, so if your room is high up, you’ll have to use the stairs after reception hours. The one drawback is that there’s no air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable on very hot days. Otherwise, the accommodation was beautiful and comfortable, with a great location near everything and good connections around the city. The free, delicious coffee was a nice touch. A highly recommended place to stay.

For a short trip, it was perfectly fine. I slept well, though I’d advise against looking under the bed. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and there were a few silverfish. I can’t say much about the service because there wasn’t anyone around, but the gentleman who checked me in was friendly. Contrary to the reviews, the elevator was still running after 10 PM.

The staff were easily the best part, all incredibly kind and helpful. The location was convenient, just a few minutes from the city center, and getting there by car wasn’t too stressful. I stayed for 2 nights and found only positives: the room was spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable, and the entrance had the feel of a luxury hotel. I’ll definitely be back!
