Motel One München-Haidhausen

A comfortable, cozy, and clean place for a few nights. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and their English was great 👌🙌. For a business trip, I didn’t need anything more. It met my expectations completely.

This is where I’ll stay whenever I’m in Munich. We had a great New Year’s stay, thanks, Motel One! The room was ideal for sleeping: a comfortable bed, just right temperature, and curtain rails that overlap so no daylight gets through. The soundproofing was incredible. Even with the hotel on a main street, closing the windows blocked out every sound, including New Year’s fireworks. We kept opening and closing them just to marvel at the difference, lol. SO QUIET. The staff at the desk and bar were the friendliest and most professional. We spent all three evenings at the bar because it was so cozy and had a great drinks menu. We started calling it “the living room” as a joke. Even the Christmas trees were classy and cute.

A peaceful lounge with room to sit and have a drink or a chat, plus a very good breakfast. The hotel was affordable and really nice, with very clean rooms and polite, helpful staff. It’s an easy walk from Munich train station East (Bahnhof Ost), where there’s a direct train to the Munich airport. A good choice for a business trip or a short private visit to Munich.

I always enjoy staying at a Motel One, and had a pleasant visit here. It’s a little outside the center, but you can walk there in half an hour or take a short ride on public transport. It’s also conveniently close to the Munchen Ostbahnhof. The rooms were comfortable and clean, though they got quite warm and stuffy. We couldn’t adjust the temperature, so they weren’t as comfortable as we’d have liked.
