Quiet and comfortable, and it felt like great value. The staff were top notch, the private bathroom was spotless, and there was a desk that worked well for getting a bit of work done. Free parking was great for the car. The beach was an 18-minute walk, Tower Gardens was nice for a stroll, and the station was 800m away, easy enough.

We only booked at the last minute because my partner and I needed a place to crash for the night. It turned out much better than we expected: clean room, comfy bed, and close to everything. The beach was an easy walk.

From outside it looks plain, so I wasn't sure at first, but indoors everything was tidy and clean. The room was larger than I'd expected and the bed was comfortable. The receptionist was a gem and pointed me to a nice local place for dinner. Really good value.

We arrived really late, and the staff were very relaxed about it. Our room was already clean and ready, with comfy beds and plenty of space. Everything is close by, too.

Maybe this hotel doesn't get enough credit. It's clean, well cared for and has everything you need for a few nights. The staff were lovely, and the parking area is huge. We'll definitely come back.
