Ehna’s cooking and warm welcome made each morning a great start, with plenty of treats and drinks. Staying here feels like spending the night in a contemporary art gallery, and the rooms are chic, with a modern bathroom I wished I could take home. There’s a balcony with a tall door for fresh air and sunshine, plus lush gardens behind the building and on the rooftop. Even on a rainy day, the art and the beautiful interior made an impression. We were careful to wipe our feet as we came in, and the painting opposite the entrance, showing a cross-section of the building, caught our eye right away.

Rossosegnale is a handy base for exploring, close to Milano Centrale for arriving and leaving. The hosts were accommodating, and breakfast was great, especially the eggs. We enjoyed the balcony even in the rain, and the gallery offered a lovely place to sit indoors. The garden and roof would be nice spots in better weather. We had a very pleasant stay and are eager to come back.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room with a balcony was very nice and well equipped. There’s no washing machine, though. The hotel is close to the metro, and downtown is only about 10-15 minutes away. Highly recommend.

Raoul and Alberto made us feel welcome and helped us explore Milan like locals. The thoughtful details, from the decor and facilities to the lovely breakfast, made the place feel like home, only much more stylish. I highly recommend staying here.

The place was stylish and clean, and the subway nearby took us straight downtown. Raoul and his staff were really friendly and looked after us well. We had a great stay.
