The location is ideal, right by the water bus station, with a big supermarket next door and nice bars and restaurants nearby. You can walk to all the sightseeing spots. Our room was large and had a comfortable bed, a fridge, and everything else we needed.

We stayed in the Pulcinella room, which had lots of room to move around, and the bathroom was huge. The accommodation was excellent, and the Rialto bridge is only 50 metres from the hotel entrance.

It's a very cool hotel, right by the Rialto water bus station if you're coming from the airport, so you don't have to carry luggage around. All the captivating sights are within walking distance. The only problem was the AC, which wouldn't go below 22. I guess that's a general issue in Europe.

Ego Residence is right by the Rialto canal stop and close to the Rialto Bridge, a good-value place to stay in the heart of Venice. The room was a decent size for a couple with large luggage, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The reception staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful, spread across a couple of buildings right on the Grand Canal. Rooms have names instead of numbers, are compact but lovely and spotless, with everything you need. Even in this central spot, we didn't hear noise. It's right by the Ponte di Rialto, moments from a vaporetto stop served by several lines, and under a 15-minute walk from St Mark's Square. When I'm back in Venice, this will be the first place I look at.
