Casa Alquimia Condesa

We booked the apartment through a platform for December 24th-29th, but got no answer at the listed phone number two days before arrival or on the day itself. The landlord then tried to take money from our account. When we arrived on December 24th, the apartment was booked through December 25th, so it had been double booked. The landlord had also canceled our booking. We eventually reached him by phone, and he was extremely unfriendly. We had to find somewhere else to stay on Christmas Eve. Never again. This doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident at the property, and appears to happen quite often.

We arrived with our suitcases at 3 pm, but no one answered the door or the phone. Then an email suddenly came through saying our reservation had been canceled, and we had to find somewhere else at the last minute. Terrible.

The location was excellent, and I’ll definitely return. The rooms are beautiful, the service was very good, and they answered all my questions and gave me helpful recommendations.

They canceled my room on the very day I needed somewhere to stay. I messaged for help and got a reply two hours later that only said, “Hello,” with nothing else. Terrible service. Don’t waste your time, find another option.
