The hotel manager asked me to cancel my stay, even though Agoda showed it as non-cancellable, and I feel I was scammed into doing so. Agoda told me it was OK, but the amount was still deducted. When I asked the hotel owner for a refund, they refused.

Just a five-minute walk from Thamel, Blue Mountain is comfortable and budget-friendly. The friendly, helpful staff made it a lovely place to stay. We really enjoyed the rooftop for a meal or a beer. Thanks to the Blue Mountain team for their warm hospitality and for providing such a good base in Kathmandu.

The house design, the view, the food, and the cleanliness were all perfect. Krishna and Radj took care of everything, and they are wonderful people. I felt as if I'd stayed in my family's home. This may be one of the best places I've ever stayed, and leaving made me cry. I'll miss you and will definitely come back.

The rooftop restaurant is lovely, and there are plenty of pleasant spots to sit outside among the plants. The hotel looked newly renovated, with furniture I liked and rooms in very good condition. Even the shared bathroom was modern and clean, and the sheets were spotless. I felt comfortable with the cleanliness, and the shower had good hot water. It was quiet, too. They accept credit cards with a 3.5% extra charge. I paid 200 NPR to leave my room two hours after checkout. Good value for the price.

We got a great deal, and the room was clean with a good hot shower. The owner was very nice and let us leave our bags at the hotel while we went away for a few days. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely, with a great view. The location made it easy to get into town and the shopping area. I'd recommend this place to others.
