It’s only a few minutes from Aljunied train station, and the place was clean and decent. The rooms looked huge in the photos, but in person they’re compact and small. I also didn’t feel good about the elevator, which seemed like it might break at any moment.

The blanket smelled, and the toilet was stained and smelly, with lots of cigarette burn marks even though I was in a non-smoking room. The headboard was stained and smelled too. There was no mini fridge, safe, or disposable slippers. A hair dryer was left by the sink, but there wasn’t an electrical socket close enough to use it. This isn’t somewhere I’d choose for a staycation, and I wouldn’t recommend it to parents with kids.

The staff were helpful and polite, and the WiFi was strong. The location is good too. Still, our Superior Twin room didn’t feel superior to me. It was very small and had a damp smell. The bathroom looked as if it had just been cleared by a Crime Scene Unit, so we didn’t use it during our one-night stay. I wouldn’t come back.

The room had standing lamps about human height that gave it a warm, golden glow. I also liked how neatly the toilet and personal essentials were arranged, and there was more provided than I expected. The place was simple and tidy, and the customer service was good, with friendly people who were ready to help. Definitely worth it for a short stay.
