The room was old, the mattress sagged, and the air conditioner kept switching on and off, leaving it too cold at times and too hot at others. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. I’d booked for two people, one male and one female, through the Traveloka app, which only offered a double or twin room. I didn’t realize I needed to leave a note asking for twin beds, so I was given a double. When I asked to switch, the staff said unpleasantly that I’d have to pay extra. I was willing to pay, but when I asked how to book a twin room next time, the receptionist shouted that it wasn’t their responsibility and told me to deal with Traveloka. I’d seen reviews describing the staff as rude and thought those were isolated incidents, until I experienced the service myself. One star doesn’t cover this horrible stay. If I could, I’d give minus 10 stars.

The room was acceptable for the price, nothing special but manageable. What made the stay disappointing was the extra bed charge. I was asked to pay it on arrival, but nobody had clearly explained it beforehand. When I asked for an explanation and a receipt, the staff didn’t properly clarify the charge or apologize. I had to ask several times for them to check the calculation again. Their unfriendly, unapproachable attitude made an already uncomfortable situation worse. I hope the hotel improves how it communicates and treats customers.

I was shocked by how poorly the front desk handled my request to review the CCTV footage over a payment issue. The staff were rude and dismissive instead of trying to help, and spoke to me in an extremely disrespectful way. Their unprofessional attitude made things worse and left me feeling that my concerns didn’t matter. That treatment is unacceptable, and I won’t return.

The room and location used to suit me, so I’ve stayed here a lot. There are now plenty of better hotels for less money. The staff’s attitude didn’t bother me at first, but over time it gets old, like they’re doing you a favor by checking you in and doing their jobs.
