The bidet in the bathroom was a welcome bonus, since that’s not something you often find in hotels here. There’s also a basic breakfast included, plus complimentary wine and cheese from 4-6 p.m. Valet parking costs $45, though it can take around 20-30 minutes to get your car. For an older building, it has a lot of charm and atmosphere, and the rates are quite reasonable compared with other nearby hotels. Great value for the price.

Ms. Sami at the front desk was gracious and really helpful, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. We also enjoyed the early evening wine and cheese in the lobby and the continental breakfast in the morning. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the lobby is beautiful. We had another wonderful weekend at Beresford Arms, with its old world charm.

The hotel is charming and well kept, and I’d happily stay here again. It’s right around the corner from Nob Bill and three blocks from Union Square, with Macys, Neiman Marcus, shopping, and fun nearby. They serve continental breakfast in the morning, plus free wine and cheese from 430-6.

Kathy, the manager, went out of her way to help me get my watch returned. Her support was outstanding and made a real difference. I also found the rooms clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished, and the complimentary breakfast and afternoon cheese platter were lovely surprises. The hotel is next to a homeless shelter, so there are quite a few people around. That didn’t affect my stay inside, though it’s something to consider based on your preferences. Getting around is convenient on foot or by public transport. I had a good stay and especially appreciated the service.

Clean room and great attention from the front desk. It’s just a few blocks from union sq, so a great option. Breakfast in the morning is simple, just coffee, cookies, some fruit and yogurt, and there’s tea in the afternoon.
