Best Western Plus Airport Inn

We had to wait ten minutes for someone to unlock the door when we arrived at 5:15 p.m. The woman at the desk was on her phone during check-in, didn’t speak, and never apologized for the wait. The upstairs hall smelled of mildew. In our first room, the toilet didn’t work, the tub was filthy, and the pillows had no cases, so they moved us across the hall. There’s no breakfast, despite what the booking listing says. We had to buy our own tissue at the Family Dollar across the street because the desk clerk said the cleaning staff had left and she couldn’t open the door to get any. I’m very disappointed. It was much better when it was the Best Western Hotel.

The room was subpar, and the front desk woman was horrendous. I asked for a plastic fork so my son could eat, and she just said that if there weren’t any, they were all gone, then walked away without another word. Later I called because there was no toilet paper in my room. She told me, “you can come get it.” It’s her job, and she couldn’t even be pleasant about it. Found these items in my room.

This was the worst stay I’ve had in 35 years. The first room’s door wouldn’t open at all, so I was moved. I was told my deposit would be returned in 5-10 business days, but it still hasn’t arrived. Bring your own food and drinks if you’re hungry or thirsty, because there’s nothing there, and the breakfast was the worst in mankind. The women at the front desk seem to know nothing except letting men into a room. They sneak away and are never at the counter when you need help. The floor I stayed on smelled like 4/20.

I had to go downstairs myself to get towels because there weren’t any in my room. The service was lousy, and I won’t return. The tub was filthy; they said they’d tell housekeeping, but nobody came, so I bought cleaning supplies. I always check motel beds, and when I pulled back the comforter, the sheet had pee stains. I told the front desk, and they gave me another sheet, but it didn’t fit.
