Chic&Basic Zoo

The room was cozy and clean, with good Wi-Fi, toiletries, and little snacks and treats. I was surprised by the well-stocked shared breakfast and coffee bar, with water, tea, espresso, cookies, and candy. There's also a small outdoor courtyard/smoking area. The Chic & Basic bar at reception had good tapas and drinks in a warm setting. I had a lovely two-night stay in December. Lots of interesting shops, bars, landmarks, and the bus station are within walking distance. Reception is 100 m away on the other side of the block, and the staff there were extremely helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend it.

We'd stay here again. The room was small but clean, the bathroom was good and had toiletries, and we slept well. We were only there for one night before catching a cruise ship the next day. Reception is about 100 metres around the corner, and they kept our luggage for free while we went sightseeing. There's a bar, and they ordered a taxi for us. The metro station is a 10-minute walk away.

I liked what I got for the price, and the location is great, near plenty of places to eat and attractions. My superior room was modern, clean, and very nice, with a small balcony overlooking the botanical gardens. The arrangement is unusual: there's no staff on site, and reception is around the corner at another location. Check in there, where breakfast is served too. The room building has a small shared area with water and coffee.

There are lots of restaurants nearby and nice places to walk. I stayed for two nights and found the room very clean and safe. They leave free coffee and tea in the lobby, and there was a welcome gift in the room, including a local brand of fruit juice. The reception staff were always welcoming. One thing to know: check-in is at reception around the corner in the same building, not at the hotel itself. They'll give you keys and instructions for getting in.
