The hotel's in a quieter area, but the city centre is an easy, calm walk of about ten minutes. We felt welcome at Il Malaspina Hotel as soon as we arrived. The reception staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Our room was cosy and modern with everything we needed, and the hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. We'd happily stay again.

Breakfast was a treat, and the single bed was roomy for one. My room looked just like the pictures and was super clean. The staff were very friendly. It was an easy walk from the train station, and I could also walk to the Academia, Uffizi galleries, and Centrale Mercato.
