Hotel Spadai

Still thinking about the breakfast buffet, with its delicious food and huge variety. We also looked forward to our nightly aperitivo and last drink, especially the gorgeous Hugo spritz and biscotti from Francesco, such a friendly and gracious bartender. Thank you for the lovely service and drinks! We stayed in April 2026 and loved the hotel. It's close to everything on foot, but quiet at night. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the service was great. Every detail made an impression, and we can't wait to come back.

The breakfast is a real highlight. They put care into keeping things fresh, and there were so many kinds of cake and new things for us to try, beyond the usual continental pancakes and waffles. I've stayed here twice. On the first visit, everyone from reception to housekeeping and breakfast was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our room's view was beautiful, not directly of the duomo, but just as breathtaking. Lots of little details made the stay enjoyable, and being within easy walking distance of everything made us want to return. What a gem!

We'd happily stay here again. The hotel is right by the duomo, with an easy walk to pretty much anywhere of interest in the city. We were traveling with family and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very spacious by European standards, with exceptional bathrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Really great hotel.

The beds were the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel, and the place was quiet at night, so we got a good rest. It's also just down the street from the popular monuments. Breakfast starts at 7 am and was delicious, a good way to fuel up for the day. They cleaned and restocked the room each day, then turned down the bed for the evening. The service was amazing. A perfect place to stay in Florence, and one I'd recommend.
