The room smelled awful, like feet, and there was mold all over it. The staff service was really bad, too. I don’t understand how this gets five stars. It feels like you’re praising yourselves too much.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and gave good service, and the hotel was beautifully maintained. It’s right in Shinjuku’s busy nightlife area, yet well worth the price. We loved the Balinese-style rooms, comfortable bedding, large TV, and big bath with its own TV. There’s a 24-hour room service menu at reasonable prices, plus a cafe/bar, karaoke, and darts for guests at discounted rates. The hotel also offers a drink bar, little desserts, useful toiletries, beauty items, and games for rent. We had such a good stay that I’ll definitely return.

Bali is right in the middle of Shinjuku, and I found it one of the better places to stay overnight. I’m not sure whether you can book multiple days. The amenities are excellent and inventive, and the package includes all-you-can-drink beverages, including wine. Some packages also come with a lunch buffet. Try the foot pools, and the shower room is great.
